About Cynthia Britt
Boston
based Cynthia Pischdotchian is a designer, goldsmith and wax carver with a
unique and uncompromising vision of fine jewelry. Artistic talent has run in
her family for generations. Her father was a prominent Armenian architect and
her mother an international fine artist, graphic designer and owner of a
leading design company. Cynthia began her formal education at Boston University,
then moved to Los Angeles to pursue additional studies at the Hazeltine School
of Fine Jewelry Crafting. From there she embarked on her longtime wish, passion
and gift in designing and creating fine jewelry.
Cynthia grew up surrounded by family members who
nurtured her talent and provided access to their own finely crafted jewels and heirloom
pieces, handed down through generations of European and Middle Eastern heritage.
Her own travels and education have built on this foundation, and exposed her to
the vibrant contemporary jewelry designers of Europe. However, the most
influential inspiration for Cynthia is her fascination with nature and her love
for her daughter, Brigitte, from whom the name Cynthia Britt was created.
